The Americans with Disabilities Act, commonly referred to as the ADA, was enacted on July 26, 1990. The purpose of Title 111 of the Act, portions of which became effective on January 26, 1992, is to ensure that "no individual shall be discriminated against on the basis of disability in the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, or accommodations by any private entity who owns, leases (or leases to), or operates a place of public accommodation." Because the law imposes certain responsibilities on public telephone location providers that are places of public accommodation or commercial facilities. Alliance Payphone, Inc. will work with the location's specifications to meet ADA requirements. |

*A payphone will be installed at no cost to the location when call volume is enough to reach minimum revenue levels. We will visit your location to determine if your business qualifies for a payphone at no cost to your company.
